We have just published a provisional checklist of the bees of Herefordshire, compiled by Ian Draycott – thank you Ian. The checklist includes the flurry of new species to the county that were recorded over the summer, by recorders who had been enthused by the bee identification training we ran earlier this year! We’re currently on 108 species for the county; hopefully this checklist will prove a valuable resource for recorders hoping to find new species for Herefordshire.
