This is a great opportunity to hear news and updates from the world of biological recording in Herefordshire, find out how local projects are using biological data, learn about taxa, and catch up with fellow recorders.
We will have updates from HBRC including the launch of our very exciting new recording platform, entomologist Ella Curry talking about beetles, Herefordshire Wildlife Trust CEO Saul Herbert with the latest on the Trust’s new strategy, and the National Trust on the work they are doing to help nature recovery at their Herefordshire properties.
Once again, there will be time for networking/catching up, and there’s the opportunity to have a Naturalists’ Natter! These are 5-minute speaking slots that any of you can sign up to, where you’ll be able to tell the audience about something related to biological recording in the county – it could be a recording project you’re working on, a species group of interest, a recording group or event/s you’d like to promote, a particularly interesting site or something else similar. If you’d like to sign up, just drop us an email at hbrc@herefordshire.gov.uk.
Light refreshments will be provided. This is a free event but booking is essential – please email hbrc@herefordshire.gov.uk to book your place, by the 24th November at the latest to allow us to finalise all arrangements for the day.
