We've arranged this meeting to coincide with the City Nature Challenge - the Recorders' and Naturalists' meeting will run from 9:30am - 1pm, with the option to stay on until 3pm for brief iNaturalist training and a mini bioblitz in the grounds of HARC and nearby for the City Nature Challenge.
This is a great opportunity to hear news and updates from the world of biological recording in Herefordshire, and to catch up with fellow recorders. We will have talks from:
• Emma Gardner and Jane Tavener: ‘Latest news from HBRC’
• Toby Fountain – ‘Local Wildlife Site Project’
• Charlie Alfandary – ‘Herefordshire’s Local Nature Recovery Strategy’
• Dave Taft – ‘Fascination of Plant Galls – Identification, Biology and Ecology’
Light refreshments will be provided, but if you would like to stay for the bioblitz please bring your own lunch. This is a free event but booking is essential – please email hbrc@herefordshire.gov.uk to book your place, by the 22nd April at the latest to allow us to finalise all arrangements for the day.
