Hoverflies are one of the most charismatic groups of fly and you can get a handle on their main characteristics on this day course. With Invertebrate specialist Nigel Jones you will discover what makes a hoverfly different from other flies, a little bit about their ecology and behaviour and then go out to try and find some of the common species.
