Event

The harvest mouse (Micromys minutus) is the UK’s smallest rodent and, because of habitat loss and
changes in farming practice, is now thought to be in decline in Britain. We will be carrying out a survey in line with Mammal Society guidelines to try and identify signs for it. Principally we will be looking for nests but will be given all the training to look out for field signs of this elusive and charismatic animal. We will be outside all morning so please wrap up warm. A joint session in collaboration with the Herefordshire Mammal Group
